Happy 2020!

I can't believe that my last newsletter dates back to March 2019! You will not say that I spammed you this past year!

But don't worry, I won't either this year.

First of all, I hope you're all doing wonderful and rang in the new year surrounded by loved ones. I personally spent NYE alone at my parents' home in France and, while I would have rather spent it with Octave - who is in the States and was actually on a road trip in Mexico - I was really happy to have resisted the pressure to celebrate. I cooked myself a delicious noodle dish and finished re-watching "I Love Dick" on Amazon - and now I want to go on a creative retreat to Marfa...

This past year, I've been sharing my time between France and the US. Last spring, Octave and I put our stuff in storage and pressed pause while we figured out our visa situation. This coming year is still going to be a little tricky for me but I'm trying to embrace the bi-continental life for now.

Living out of a suitcase, being away from my husband for months at a time and not really having a place to call home is a good exercice in minimalism and self-reflection.

To be honest, and as you might have noticed over the past couple months, I don't really have any big plans for the blog. I lack the time and space to experiment and document. (This reminds me to tell you to make sure you don't miss my next article by signing up here to receive it in your mailbox. Again, don't be afraid to get too many emails, my publishing schedule is... non existent :)

As you might have read in my latest article, I've been doing a lot of self-reflection, yoga, and meditation lately. I've also connected with my Zero Waste Community in my hometown in France and kept growing the Zero Waste PDX community, which now gathers more than 2'000 members!

This year is going to be about figuring out and manifesting the things I truly want for myself, and to identify the opportunities offered to me to give purpose to my life. I truly hope that by the end of the year, I will have settled down somewhere with my love and have a space to call my own to create and share things and moments with you.

I wish you all the best for the wonderful year to come and hope to see you along the journey.
